Sweet Magnolias was first got released back in May 2020, at first it didn’t attract our attention since it was overshadowed by other bolder series. When we needed a show to relax our minds, Sweet Magnolias has become an absolute savior with its likable characters, cute atmosphere, and entertaining drama. Romance has a major role in the show, which we enjoy.
The show is based on the book series by Sherryl Woods. While season one of the series was a great adaption in terms of its loyalty to the books and season 2 started to give the signals of parting away from the original material and finding its characters.
As you can see despite leaving the book series behind, the show still has a strong plot that manages to keep us the fan engaged and we are already looking for season 3 hit Netflix.

Well, we believe there is no reason to cancel the show at this point. After season two premiered in February 2022, fans were eager for season three, and thankfully for them, Netflix announced that season three would be released on July 20, 2023.

Much of the cast from seasons 1 and 2 would likely return including American actress JoAnna GARCIA as Maddie, Brooke Elliott as Dana Sue, Logan Allen as Kyle Townsend, and Anneliese Judge as Annie Sullivan.
