Official development on the film began in January 2020 & Feige announced Captain Marvel 2 in December 2020. Principle photography for the film was started on May 31, 2021. It was previously scheduled for July 8 and November 11, 2022, but for now, the Marvels is all set to hit the theaters on February 17, 2023, in the United States.
