Hello, guys welcome to the new post of Hollywood Lovers this post is something new for you if you feel like Netflix just has a whole lot of nothing to watch lately. Here are the 7 best movies you’ve likely never seen or heard of just hanging out on Netflix. Apart from this, we have written many articles about Netflix movies and series, if you want to know about them, then you should check the Top 5 Best Hollywood Fantasy Movies On Netflix Must Watch Once. Right now I want to tell you about my number 7 pick.
So this is a pretty electric list we have got things from all across the board here and like I said these are lesser-known movies ones that have either not really been recommended or just didn’t get the audience they deserve.
List Of Movies Netflix USA
The Raid 2 (2014)
I called it one of the greatest action movies of the 21st century so far and even if it’s not then it’s certainly the most underrated movie. This is the sequel to the Raid Redemption but you do not have to see it first even though I highly recommend it.
It is an epic gangster movie this was filmed and it takes place in Indonesia, got has some beautiful cinematography, especially for a movie like this but my goodness is the violence brutal in this movie.
Code 8 (2019)
I have been advocating for this movie for the past few years I love it, especially for something done on a lower budget. Code 8 takes place in a future where some humans have started to develop powers very much like X-men yet there’s this elite robotic police force that keeps him in check and short of subjugating them.
Code 8’s angle is not mind-blowing but it is incredibly well-delivered it’s just a sharp superhero movie done on a microscopic budget which most superhero movies are done on and I think the story gets delivered better.
The Platform (2019)
My next pic is another sci-fi movie From Spain but the reason I have to add it to this list is because this one is one of the most interesting Netflix originals I have ever seen.
The setup for this is very simple: a man wakes up in a cell with only one roommate and every day this giant platform lowers and they can eat anything that they want but the catch is that they are eating the leftovers from the above level.
Molly’s Game (2017)
This is based on a true story and not only did Jessica Chastain just kill it in this role, but This was also actually written and directed by Aaron Sorkin and it is also based on a book by the real Molly Bloom who was an Olympic athlete who ended up running an exclusive poker game where a lot of really powerful people bet a lot of money.
Thy storywise the film delivers Molly Bloom’s story incredibly well and it’s just a very interesting crime movie that has kind of a different flavor than most other movies like it.
If you want to watch something with a completely different flavor from anything you have likely ever seen, check out Bardo. Bardo False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths The movie itself is artier than that title.
The film is directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu who is most famous for directing movies like The Revenant and Birdman. I would say Bardo is most closely releated to Birdman. If you were a big fan of Birdman I honestly think there is a very slim chance you will not love Bardo.
Blood Red Sky (2021)
In this movie an overnight flight is hijacked so there but when the hijackers take over they learn that of the passengers is not only human they are a bloodthirsty vampire. What I really liked about Blood Red Sky is it’s unlike most vampire movies.
If you were a fan of the zombies movies and the way they delivered in 30 Days of Night then you have to watch Blood Red Sky but if you just want to watch a wild hijacking movie with a lot of blood and biting in it then definitely check it out.
In this film John Hamm plays a former U.S Diplomat sent to Beirut to try to negotiate for someone’s life this takes place at the peak of the Civil War and even though it is a lower budget movie they did bring Beriut to life in a pretty realistic way in this way movie because this is very realistic spy movie.
The movie itself is very well written well acted and has some really nail-biting sequences in it.
